Australia is tightening the rules! Starting December 10, 2025, Meta will block all users under 16 from Instagram, Facebook, and Threads.

Teens aged 13–15 will see their accounts deactivated starting December 4, and new sign-ups won’t be allowed. Users can download their data, delete accounts, or leave contact info to return at 16.

The law hits hard platforms face fines up to A$49.5 million if they fail to keep kids off social media. Looks like the Aussie government just became Meta’s strict new bouncer!
