Using Instagram in the U.K.? Soon you’ll have to pick: pay a small fee each month or keep scrolling with ads.

💳 The ad-free option starts at £2.99 on web and £3.99 on iOS/Android (yep, those app store fees). If you pay up, Instagram promises your data won’t be used for personalized ads, giving you a more private feed.

The subscription also covers your linked accounts, with discounts for extras. Meta says the plan was built with the U.K.’s privacy regulators to stay on the safe side after earlier EU pushback.
