📲Instagram Introduces Memorial Contact Feature for Deceased Users

Instagram now allows users to appoint a memorial contact to manage limited parts of their account after death. This person can update the profile picture and download public content but cannot post, read messages, or fully operate the account. The feature, launching in Israel, mirrors a similar tool introduced by Facebook about a decade ago, helping users cope with loss in the digital space.
