📲Instagram’s auto-scroll is rolling out, and your thumb might finally get a rest

Instagram is trialing an auto-scroll feature that lets Reels play continuously without swiping. Available to select creator and business accounts—mainly in India—it can be toggled on via the three-dot menu.

While it offers a smoother viewing experience, it also encourages longer watch times, benefiting Instagram. Still in testing, auto-scroll may roll out more widely if successful.
