Four officials from an unnamed Israeli Premier League soccer club have been arrested in a major financial crime investigation involving alleged fraud, money laundering and tax violations.

Authorities suspect the club concealed players’ salaries and falsified financial records over four seasons, with alleged offenses totaling tens of millions of shekels.

Police have seized luxury vehicles and real estate, while dozens of current and former players are expected to be questioned as the investigation continues.
