El Al has canceled two repatriation flights scheduled to bring home Israelis stranded in Dubai after authorities withdrew permission for Israeli carriers to land in the United Arab Emirates.
The airline said it would operate the planned flights as soon as official authorization is restored.
More than 10,000 Israelis are estimated to be stranded in Dubai and other destinations from which they had planned to return to Israel via the UAE following the attempted hijacking of flydubai Flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv on Wednesday.
