❗Israel's Foreign Ministry has issued a travel warning to Israelis planning to visit the Netherlands that they may face “lengthy and invasive” baggage checks at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport.

This comes after the Dutch government banned goods from Jewish communities and businesses in Judea and Samaria, eastern Jerusalem and the Golan Heights.

Violating the ban is a criminal offense, with penalties including fines and even prison time.

Israel is monitoring how the Netherlands intends to enforce the ban in practice.
