IDF: Over 100 Terrorists Eliminated and Approximately Eight Kilometers of Underground Terror Tunnels Neutralized: The 99th Division Completes Its Mission in the Northern Gaza Strip

Over the past four months, troops of the 99th Division have operated in the northern Gaza Strip, east of the Yellow Line, to dismantle and neutralize terrorist infrastructure above and below ground, and thwart attempts by the Hamas terrorist organization to reestablish its capabilities. The 162nd Division will continue its mission in the area.

During the division’s operations, approximately eight kilometers of underground terror tunnels were neutralized, and numerous terrorist infrastructure sites were dismantled, including an observation command center and structures used by terrorists to prepare and plan attacks against IDF troops.

Additionally, over 100 terrorists were eliminated, including terrorists who infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th Massacre, terrorists who held hostages in captivity, and terrorists who attempted to plant explosive devices targeting IDF troops operating in the area.
