IDF: The 98th Division Headquarters completed operational preparations and begins commanding two brigades in Judea and Samaria

In accordance with the directive of the IDF Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, the 98th Division Headquarters completed its operational preparations earlier today (Friday) to assume responsibility for the Etzion and Judea Brigades in Judea and Samaria, and began commanding them.

The Judea and Samaria Division and the 98th Division, including the territorial brigades, will operate jointly in defense and offense to strengthen security efforts and counter terrorism.
