Even if they were certain the Commonwealth will win, they understand how unpopular these laws are and how bad the banning of a political party looks. I reckon there will be minimal media coverage of the High Court case either way — whether the Commonwealth or the party wins.

Some stakeholder has obviously coordinated a media blackout on the case — probably ASIO or Home Affairs. Only The Noticer is reporting on it.

Telegram Aus NS Archive 🇦🇺 Not a single article. The memo certainly went out to the system journalists to not talk about the rally, or the upcoming High Court case. They mustn’t be confident of a Commonwealth win, if they were, they’d be out there gloating.
