The more I think about the American Revolution and the heritage American identity surrounding it, the more I realize that it was actually this sort of English civil war that took place outside of Europe, and that heritage Americans were Anglo-Saxons that successfully freed themselves from the Norman yoke. What became the constitution was founded in this revolt against the Norman yoke and its parasitic system: a restoration of Anglo-Saxon freedom and dignity.
