We are proud to present you with the fruit of what has been a complex, seminal endeavor for us. For the first time, music from HotA is played live in accordance with the author's original score. The Bulwark town theme (composed by Vlad "Maigret" Privezentsev) is performed by the Karelian State Philharmonic Orchestra (conducted by Dmitriy Koltsov).

From the initial scribbles in a music notebook, it took over two years to arrive at the release of this video. While working on the theme, the author delved deeply into the musical traditions of different northern peoples, taught himself to play several new instruments and even had to design and craft a few himself. In this recording, Maigret plays the part of the flute. To create an atmosphere that matches our vision of the town, and as a sort of an echo of the related Rampart town, whose theme features a sitar, he also introduced instruments unusual for a classical orchestra, such as a jaw harp and even an anvil.

HotA Crew is grateful to Karelian State Philharmonic and to Glazunov Petrozavodsk State Conservatory for the opportunity to implement this project.

We also extend our sincere thanks to our friends who not only excel as videographers but also played a key role in organizing the project, as their hands-on knowledge of Karelia's vibrant musical scene helped made this recording possible.
