⚠️ TON finality has regressed

The subsecond upgrade cut TON's transaction finality from over 4 seconds to roughly 1 second on average.

Since then, several stabilization updates have shipped - most recently the Plumtree broadcast rework and a set of config changes - yet finality has kept getting slower after each one. This isn't a load effect: throughput today is lower than early May, when finality was at its best.

⚡️ Measured on RedoTrade, the average time from transaction submission to finalization is now 2.9 seconds.
