"The SS does not prescribe any form of religion, but the SS wants to consistently embrace the worldview of National Socialism. This includes the belief that there have been no 'revelations' made that apply to all races and peoples. Therefore, we also do not 'believe' on the basis of such a revelation. For we are of the opinion that each race believes in God in its own way, and that God therefore also 'reveals' Himself differently to each race โ indeed, must reveal Himself differently. That is why we say that, above all, we want to listen 'to the voice of the blood' and that we assign more value to this voice than to any authority in the world. [...] What we cannot ultimately accept is belief based on dogma or ecclesiastical authority. Nor can we accept religious concepts that are unhealthy or utterly alien to our race, or those that direct our gaze primarily toward "heaven" rather than toward this earth and this life, where our task lies. Apart from that, what matters is simply to move through this life with strength and courageโto do oneโs duty without seeking a reward, and not to fear death."
