"However, in these early times, it [the Swastika] does not appear at all in Egypt. Nor in the Semitic world; and now the following is very remarkable: Semitic peoples were to conquer Mesopotamia, where the swastika was known and even occurred very frequently. However, they did not adopt it there, but it disappeared. There was apparently a reason why this symbol did not appeal to them. Now it has once again become the holy symbol against Semitism."
