Looks like Latin America just got a little closer! 🌎

The second School on Latin America has come to an end in Volgograd — a Gorchakov Fund educational and research programme dedicated to the region. The project was organised together with the Institute of Latin America of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Center for Public Diplomacy at Volgograd State University.

📕 Over five days, more than 30 participants from different regions of Russia and other countries joined experts to explore how Latin America is changing and what new opportunities are emerging for Russia–Latin America cooperation.

What happened at the School?

✔️ Explored the region’s politics, economics and international relations with Russian experts and diplomats
✔️ Learned how the media landscape works in Latin America
✔️ Discussed how to launch international projects and build partnerships across borders
✔️ Worked in teams on their own projects — from a nuclear medicine startup to an educational initiative
✔️ And, of course, discovered Volgograd and its historical heritage

Five days, dozens of ideas, plenty of new connections — and, perhaps, even more questions about where Russia – Latin America relations are heading next.
