⚡️🇺🇳🇪🇺 – The International Energy Agency (IEA) said it could consider the release of more strategic oil reserves, although it currently isn't their "number one agenda".

IEA Executive Director Faith Birol confirmed during a meeting of EU Energy Ministers that the agency has already released 400 million barrels since March, of which one third is yet to reach global markets. Those barrels represent 20% of the overall oil stocks.

During the same meeting, the EU Energy Comissioner said EU countries have spent an extra €100 billion euros on energy due supply disruptions related to the war in Iran—over twice what the Pentagon believes it has lost during the war.
