🪖Hezbollah sends spy drones into south Lebanon as Israel prepares for a new war
Hezbollah allegedly has been sending intelligence-gathering drones into Israeli-occupied parts of south Lebanon, Hebrew media revealed amid reports the resistance movement is preparing for a new Israeli campaign.
Israel's Air Force fired interceptors at suspicious targets in at least five incidents over the past two weeks. In three cases, the objects were confirmed to be Hezbollah devices but Israel only managed to bring down one. A "suspicious" balloon also entered Israeli airspace days ago, with the IDF unable to determine its origin.
Qatari-funded outlet Al-Modon says Hezbollah is preparing for war, given that any US-Israeli attack on Iran would also include strikes on Lebanon. Sources say FPV drones — which inflicted serious losses on Israeli forces during the war — are being upgraded to carry 4–6 kg of explosives.
This week, the Lebanese army seized a truck carrying explosives for alleged FPV drone construction. "The vehicle belongs to the resistance, and the materials are intended to confront the occupation," said Hezbollah MP Hassan Fadlallah.
