🗣🇮🇷 Iran is on par with developed nations in nuclear science — AEOI head

Iran has reached the top tier of nuclear science — and outside opposition won't change that, the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, said.

"We are on a par with developed countries in nuclear science and technology, and that is a reality," he said at National Standard Day in Tehran.

Nuclear technology is now embedded in refineries, petrochemical plants and steel production — facilities he says were targeted during "unprovoked American-Israeli aggression", he added.

Despite restrictions on specialized equipment and technical support, Iran has developed domestic alternatives to the latest international standards, Eslami said.
