🇮🇱🔥Global protests demand an end to Israel's hostilities in Gaza
Hundreds of thousands marched in coordinated demonstrations across the world on Saturday, condemning Israel's ongoing assault on Gaza and its treatment of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. Organizers counted at least 325 demonstrations globally, with 176 conducted in Europe alone.
🔴 In London, an estimated 250,000 people walked toward parliament carrying banners calling for an end to the violence and chanting "Free Palestine." Participants paused for two minutes of silence to honor the more than 74,370 Palestinians killed in Gaza since October 2023. Demonstrators also called for the UK government to stop arming Israel.
🔴 In Istanbul, protesters marched wearing white gloves and chanting: "Our hands are clean because we do not stay silent!"
🔴 In Ireland, protesters gathered for the 21st national demonstration since 2023, while thousands assembled in Berlin opposite the Federal Chancellery.
Israel signed a ceasefire on October 10, 2025, yet killings have continued almost without interruption. More than 1,400 Palestinians have died since the agreement, among them at least 327 children.
❗️More than 100 humanitarian and rights organizations issued a joint statement describing the truce as existing in name only. The Norwegian Refugee Council criticized the lack of progress for Gaza's population, and Save the Children noted that roughly one child has been killed daily since the ceasefire took effect.
