💀 Okinawa demands justice after US Marine accused of robbing and killing local woman
Gov. Genta Koja says past US disciplinary measures "have not worked at all" after Lance Cpl. Devin Ballard, 20, was arrested over the strangling of Anna Yagi, 39, at a hotel. He denies the charges.

There are more than 50,000 US troops stationed in Japan, most of whom are on Okinawa — an island that has long opposed the bases.
