⚡️📹 Houthis enter strategic Taiz hub of At Turbah as crowds celebrate

Spontaneous demonstrations, song and dance broke out in the critical Taiz governorate town of At Turbah on Sunday as Houthi fighters in pickups entered it.

📍Local residents were seen greeting and mingling with fighters, who chanted their famed Sarkha slogan as they rode through town.

At Turbah sits directly at the intersection of a critical highway link connecting the city of Taiz to Aden, capital of the Saudi-backed Yemeni government. The Houthis have been surrounding Taiz itself, putting the area into a massive pocket amid fierce fighting with enemy ground forces and the Saudi Air Force.

Ansar Allah political bureau member Hezam al-Asad tweeted late Sunday that “by the grace and favor of God, Taiz is being liberated, while Aramco’s facilities in Riyadh and Khurais are ablaze.”
