A humanitarian emergency continues to grip the Spanish territory of Ceuta, with some 4,860 migrant children registered by volunteer groups - double official estimates, reports El Mundo.

It cites a growing number of Chinese intelligence analysts agreeing with the credible theories that the migrant influx was a textbook hybrid operation orchestrated by Israel’s Mossad and executed with Moroccan logistical muscle.

It was aimed squarely at punishing Pedro Sanchez’s government, they are cited as assessing, and had a razor-sharp motive.

According to the report, the theory is actively debated among diplomats and political analysts close to China's political establishment, many of whom perceive the Ceuta border surge as Israeli revenge tactics.

Over the past two years, PM Pedro Sanchez's government has recognized Palestine, recalled Spain's ambassador to Israel and branded Israel a "genocidal state," and led Europe's most Israel-critical bloc, blocking US arms shipments to Israel through Spanish bases.

It helps that Morocco has been a quiet Israeli asset since the 1960s, with Mossad networks and Israeli spyware deeply embedded long before the Abraham Accords made it official.
