🦐 A Dead Star Leaves a Giant Cosmic Shrimp Behind!
NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day (September 29, 2026) features Sh2-188, the Shrimp Nebula.
Its white dwarf is moving unusually fast through interstellar space, creating a spectacular bow shock that shapes the glowing gas into a giant shrimp-like arc.
