🦁 James Webb Reveals the Lion Nebula
NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope has captured new infrared images of NGC 2392, the Lion Nebula. At its center is a dying star’s white dwarf, whose radiation shapes the surrounding gas and dust into a structure resembling a lion’s face and mane.
Astronomers estimate the nebula will gradually disperse over the next 10,000 years.
