🌌 Webb Reveals the Hidden Heart of Centaurus A
NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope has revealed the most detailed infrared view ever of Centaurus A, one of the closest active galaxies to Earth.
Webb’s infrared vision pierced thick clouds of cosmic dust, exposing thousands of hidden stars and a supermassive black hole actively feeding at the galaxy’s center.
The new observations provide one of the clearest views yet of how galaxies and supermassive black holes evolve together.
