The Fly Agarics are out early this year! Make sure to get out and see them - maybe pick a few. Typically found in birch and coniferous woodland.

To those who downvoted my last post:

1) You have no credibility unless you have participated in blood sacrifice.

2) If you didn't slaughter the animal yourself, how does it feel to outsource all responsibility to your goði?

3) If you have slaughtered the animal yourself, good for you, but you are nevertheless telling others they must do as you do. That works two ways.

4) Question: Are you interested in how your practice connects you to the divine, or are you more interested in peacocking to other heathens?

I'm secure enough that I don't need to argue against what you do, even though I could. Mircea Eliade's theory that pagan sacrifice is a recreation of the first act of creation is just that; a (modern) theory.

Blót is the practice of slaughtering a living animal as blood sacrifice in ritual worship. I see several heathen groups/channels promoting it as an essential pagan practice.

I am not here to denounce the practice of blood sacrifice, or to say that it is not traditional. But I will say this: It is not essential. I have been a practicing heathen for almost 20 years and have never, and will never, engage in the practice of blood sacrifice.

On a purely instinctual level, it makes no sense to me personally. I do not believe that the gods expect it of me. If you believe in it, do it, but if you don't, don't. It doesn't make you 'less heathen'.

Some archaeological evidence and later mythology evidences blood sacrifice. The Eddic poems are more vague, commanding merely that the practitioner "know how to sacrifice." Out of respect for those who do choose to practice blót, I will not go into a detailed argument against it. My only intention here is to declare that it is not an essential practice.

“The conservatives are fools: They whine about the decay of traditional values, yet they enthusiastically support technological progress and economic growth. Apparently it never occurs to them that you can’t make rapid, drastic changes in the technology and the economy of a society without causing rapid changes in all other aspects of the society as well, and that such rapid changes inevitably break down traditional values.”

Councils are to be handed powers to seize homes if they are empty for 6 months or more

Councils will be able to seize homes with an Empty Dwelling Management Order. It will leave the property privately owned, but hand authorities the power to take control and rent it out for up to seven years, without you being able to object

Authorities may also be shielded from the costs associated with seizing control, although this is still being weighed up

Councils already have the power to seize empty homes but the vacant period is currently 2 years. With the slash to 6 months it begs the question what happens to empty properties in the probate process following death

Because we acquiesce to a largely faceless beaurocracy having some self given power to seize people's hard earned assets, it's no doubt only a short hop until the state can come for your main home for some made up "statutory" reason

Collectively we have to stop believing in "authority" over us en masse. It is the biggest problem we have and gives these parasites carte blanche to do as they please, whilst we look on like dumb idiots. In effect we are enslaving ourselves. It has to stop. No one has the right to seize another's property. That is what is commonly known as THEFT

Forwarded from Woden's Folk

The change of 'world order' came about in 2001 with the collapse of the Twin Towers; this changed the Age of Capitalism `Third Estate' to the 'Age of the Masses' (Fourth Estate). We then entered the most downward point of the downward cycle of the Great Year Cycle. Around 2020 and the 'Covid Crisis' things sped up at great pace as the Global Agenda began its final onslaught upon our Folk. This is the 'Lead Age' foretold of by Miguel Serrano, the darkest and most destructive era of the Dark Cycle. Forthwith the world would plunge further and further into Dissolution and Chaos - the dissolution of all Form into the Formless Void. But this is no ending, it is a foretaste of a new beginning. Everything has to 'die' in order that it is reborn in another form, transmuted into something higher.

The new Fyrgen podcast concludes the lengthy conversation between Eros and I about the worldly and spiritual vitality of Tolkien's work. It's long - very long. I won't apologise for that because anyone who truly senses the significance in Tolkien's work will welcome a thorough exploration. It's the sort of 'content' I myself crave.

It's not long for the sake of being long, and there's no 'filler' conversation. It's long despite our best attempts at being concise, and even at times truncating a talking point to move onto the next. We had to do justice to the great man's work.

As you'll hear us discuss, The Lord of the Rings is something of an initiatory experience, and I believe was designed to be that all along. Initiations are not supposed to be brief, because one of their primary tasks is to filter out those who are not ready for them.

Listen to the 2 parts in bite-sized chunks if you need to. But if you follow the Fyrgen podcast, do not be put off by the unusual length of these. They are, as I've said before, among the most important podcasts I've produced to date.

New lyre, crafted for Dan Capp of Wolcensmen/The Fyrgen.
Sitka Spruce Toredo floatlog soundboard on Black Walnut body. This type of soundboard naturally has holes caused by woodworms, a type of mullusk found in the Pacific Ocean. The back is bookmatched Black Walnut. Sides are bookmatched and steam bent, with kirfing for structural support. The end tailpiece anchor is ancient walrus ivory, the bridge is mammoth ivory. This lyre also features guitar tuning pegs rather than zither pins, eliminating the need for a separate tuning key. This also makes tuning more precise and consistent. The strings are Aquila "nylgut" harp strings from Italy.

Some of you may have noticed that prices have risen considerably over the last two years, at the same time wages have remained stagnant, the number of available jobs has radically reduced thanks to technology, automation and the beginning of AI.

Our national debt rises by approximately £5000 every second and this government will do nothing to stop that.

We have nearly half the population in receipt of one benefit or another and a diminishing group of people paying tax to fund everything.

Legal and illegal immigration is still through the roof destroying everything in its wake.

In the next 5 years the shit is going to hit the fan.

The government, whoever that maybe at the time is going to do what it has to do in order to hold off mass civil disorder. It is going to become overtly dictatorial, it will strip away any remaining freedoms we still cling to and it will impose restrictions on everyday life that will make covid lockdowns seem like a weekend break.

So.... Parallel systems need to be in place.

Today marks the 25th anniversary of my awakening as a conspiracy realist. I came home from college early that day, turned on the TV, and watched the chaos unfold. I watched this female reporter declare, live on BBC news, that the WTC 7 building had collapsed whilst it still stood behind her.

But the biggest red flag for me on the day, when I really didn't yet know just how deceptive the MSM and western governments were, was seeing aerial footage of the Pentagon with claims that it had been hit by an aeroplane, yet (as I recall) there was no sign of even the remnants of a plane; just miscellaneous marks of a crash/explosion.

A few hours after the (false flag) attack, Benjamin Netanyahu was interviewed on TV and seemed to know all the motives and outcomes of this event. He declared that air travel would never be the same again, and it wasn't.
