Masha and Yana spent Monday evening at the presentation of ENSO, YULIAWAVE’s new fall-winter collection.

Named after the Japanese enso—a circle symbolizing perfect balance—the collection was accompanied by live koto music performed by a Japanese musician.

The show opened with a glossy black leather coat, true to the brand’s DNA. Highlights included sharp-shouldered jackets, floor-length dresses and wish-list-worthy outerwear. Leather socks paired with matching sandals and gold-accented makeup also caught our eye.

Midway through the show, a Japanese artist used an oversized brush to paint the collection’s symbol at the center of the room. The finale featured the team, followed by founder and creative director Yulia Vasilevskaya with her children, Sasha and Lev.

Both Masha and Yana wore YULIAWAVE: Yana chose a monochrome gray trouser look, while Masha wore a black linen jacket and tie-front top.

Lindsay Lohan has never hidden her fondness for Marilyn Monroe — just think of her brand named after Monroe — and while digging through the archives, we found an intriguing cover and an equally captivating story.

In 2008, the shoot was led by photographer Bert Stern, who back in 1962 photographed Monroe at the Bel-Air Hotel in California for Vogue, six weeks before the actress’s death.

For the Lohan shoot, Stern revisited the same looks from forty years earlier. The magazine’s spread pairs the photographs with an essay written by Lohan, in which she shares her love for Monroe.
