We’re kicking off the morning with news of Stefano Gabbana’s departure from Dolce & Gabbana. He’s stepped down as the company’s chairman.

Taking his place is Alfonso Dolce—Domenico’s brother and, coincidentally, the brand’s current CEO. As it turns out, he’s actually held the role since January, meaning leadership has shifted even further into family hands.

Of particular interest: Gabbana still owns around 40% of the company. According to sources, he’s now weighing several possible next steps. That adds a serious layer of uncertainty—raising key questions about how ownership and responsibilities will be structured within the brand moving forward.
