If you are a freelancer earning $1000 or less per month, this post is for you.

Here's how you can advance your services and earn MORE than $1000:

📍 Package your services well
Never send the same template to your clients.
Create 3 diff packages - It will give them a chance to go through them and select one as per their budget and requirements.
It automatically increases the conversion rate.

📍 Hire people smarter than you
If you want to scale as a freelancer, you have to hire.

I have learned recently that you should hire people smarter than you - people, who can take charge of the work and take loads off of you.
This will give you time to focus on the tasks that actually matter.

📍 Build your personal brand
I swear Building the personal brand has changed my life completely.
Do a job, do a side hustle, and do 100 other things but make sure you take 10-20 mins out every day in your schedule to work on your personal brand.
because it can change your life. It certainly did mine.

📍 Networking
It doesn't necessarily mean going out to events and hanging out with your people every weekend or so - which btw is not bad at all. Infact it’s good.

But you can also network with people through social media - send cold DMs and emails, reach out to them, have conversations and you will eventually end up getting more work. If not, you’ll make friends at least - no downside at all.

📍 Upskill yourself
You can only be a great freelancer or an entrepreneur when you upskill yourself as well.
To deliver the best quality of work, you will have to consume and learn it too.
So invest in courses and upskill. This is very important.

I hope you find it useful.

Ideas that solve real and very crucial problems that can be built quickly (no more than a week) using no-code tools:

1. Local Business Directory and Review Platform: Develop a platform for a specific city or region (like Tbilisi) that lists local businesses, along with user-submitted reviews and ratings. This can help promote local businesses and assist residents and visitors in finding services they need.

2. Event Management System for Small Businesses: A simple tool that allows small businesses to create, manage, and promote events. This could include features like ticket sales, attendee tracking, and basic promotional tools.

3. Appointment Scheduling for Professionals: A scheduling tool tailored for specific professions (like doctors, lawyers, or consultants) which allows clients to view availability and book appointments online. This tool could send automated reminders to both the professional and the client.

4. Remote Learning Platform for Specialized Skills: With the rise of remote learning, a platform that focuses on a niche skill or subject could be valuable. This could range from language learning to coding, or even more unique subjects like traditional Georgian crafts or cooking.

5. Inventory Management for Small Retailers: A straightforward inventory management system that helps small retailers track stock levels, sales, and orders. This could be particularly useful for businesses transitioning from physical sales to online sales.

6. Simple CRM for Freelancers and Small Teams: A no-frills customer relationship management tool that helps freelancers and small teams track interactions with clients and manage follow-ups.

7. Feedback and Survey Tool for Service Providers: A tool that allows businesses to easily create and distribute customer satisfaction surveys, and then analyze the feedback.

8. Mental Wellness App: An app providing daily mental wellness activities, like mindfulness exercises, stress management tips, or mood tracking. This could be particularly relevant in today's high-stress environments.

9. Budgeting and Finance Tracker for Individuals and Small Businesses: An easy-to-use tool for tracking expenses, income, and budgeting, tailored for individuals or small businesses.

10. Local Artisan Marketplace: A platform that connects local artisans with buyers. Artisans can list their products, and customers can purchase them directly through the platform. This could help promote local culture and craftsmanship.

Students often search for jobs while in college.

Here’s what I’d do instead:

Start freelancing.

Why? Freelancing lets you:

Earn money on the side.
Build real-world experience.
Grow your personal brand before you even graduate.

Here’s how to start freelancing on LinkedIn:

Spend some time to learn a skill
↳ Pick something you enjoy and can offer,
like writing, graphic design, or social media.

Optimize your profile
↳ Highlight your skills, projects, and any
experience that showcases your ability.

Offer one freelance service
↳Focus on something you can confidently
deliver, even if you’re just starting out.

Grow your network
↳ Connect with creators, professionals, and
potential clients who align with your niche.

Engage regularly
↳ Comment on posts, share insights to show
off your freelance work to build credibility.

Freelancing is the easiest way to build your career while still in school.

You get to earn the money + create opportunities for your future self.

Start now, and you’ll be ahead of the game.

(I really wish I did this when I was in college)
