Enhance your account security

Your account security is our top priority because we know your account is more than just a login; it’s your business and your reputation. We are aware of the ongoing spam issue on the platform and are pleased to announce that we have some significant efforts in the works that will help to ensure your account remains secure.

To further support our efforts, we encourage you to stay vigilant against any spam attempts as outlined in our recent post here. In addition, we’d also like to share a few more safety best practices:

▪️ Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) via your Fiverr account settings page to add an extra layer of security in case your password is compromised.

▪️ Educate yourself: Regularly review Fiverr’s Trust & Safety resources to stay updated on best practices and new security measures.

▪️ Report suspicious activity: If you encounter any suspicious activity or behavior, report it immediately. This helps keep the platform safe for everyone

▪️ Use strong passwords: Ensure your password is strong, unique, and updated regularly. Avoid using guessable information like birthdays or common words.

By following the above tips, and the ones in our previous Handling spam messages post, you can help protect your account and enjoy a safer, more productive freelancing experience on Fiverr. If you have concerns about your account security or notice suspicious activity, please contact Fiverr’s Customer Support.

We take a zero-tolerance approach to anything that compromises the safety and security of Fiverr users. Our dedicated Trust and Safety team works tirelessly to prevent the misuse of our platform, safeguarding our community and maintaining a trusted environment for all.
Stay safe and secure!
