The final stretch of the year comes with some fresh updates from Fiverr! From streamlining how you communicate to expanding AI support, here’s a snapshot of what’s new this month.


🔸 You can now edit or delete messages in your inbox

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve your Inbox experience, we’ve launched the ability to edit or delete recently sent messages. This has been another long requested feature from the community, and we hope it helps reduce stress, correct quick mistakes, and keep conversations clear and professional.

Here’s what you need to know:
▫️ To edit or delete a message, hover over it, click the three-dot menu […], and select your action.
▫️ Messages can be edited within 15 minutes of being sent.
▫️ Edited messages will display an “edited” label, while deleted messages will show a placeholder indicating that a message was removed.
▫️ Attachments cannot be edited or deleted — only the accompanying text. Alternatively, you can delete the entire message.
▫️ Customer Support will retain a log of original messages and edit and delete history.

This update is another step toward making communication more efficient and clear. Stay tuned for even more exciting Inbox updates in the new year.


🔸 Personal Assistant expands to Level One freelancers

We’re excited to expand the Personal Assistant (PA) to reach more freelancers! Starting this month, Level One freelancers are now eligible to start enjoying the PA, our AI chat that quickly answers client questions whenever a new conversation begins. It's designed to help you stay responsive, save time, and boost your conversions, all without the need to constantly check your inbox.

🔸 Update on Shutterstock usage on Fiverr.

Freelancers offering Licensed Media in their Gig packages or as extras should be aware that Shutterstock is being phased out from the platform. We're currently in the early phase of this process, and right now:
▫️ Freelancers can no longer add Shutterstock images when creating new Gigs or editing existing ones.
▫️ Active Gigs and active orders that already include Shutterstock images are not affected at this time.
▫️ Clients can still purchase those active services as usual.

This phased approach allows freelancers time to adjust without interrupting ongoing work. We'll keep sharing updates as more phases are introduced.
