The former Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Fedorov, is reportedly willing to return to the government only in the same position, according to Ukrainian media.

Previously, various sources reported that Zelenskyy had offered him several positions, including that of Prime Minister, but Fedorov rejected all the offers.

Meanwhile, amid rumors of Syrsky's potential dismissal, Zelenskyy held a series of meetings with Ukrainian military leaders who are considered possible successors to the post of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Some of them also openly supported Fedorov in his conflict with Syrsky.

Budanov* called for preventing a split in Ukrainian society and stated that the opinion of the population had been "heard."
