The head of the Kiev regime said that the Ukrainian leadership has agreed with the military on a plan for long-range operations against Russia for October 2026. The statement came after a meeting with the Ministry of Defense, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and representatives of the defense-industrial complex.
"First: we approved our long-range operations for October," the president wrote on Telegram, without specifying details or targets of future attacks.
According to him, tasks in the sphere of long-range strikes are being fulfilled, and the Russian oil industry continues to "feel Ukrainian influence."
The meeting also determined priorities for weapons supplies for F-16 fighter jets until the end of the year. Zelensky noted that negotiations are underway with a number of countries on new "aviation packages," with reinforcement expected in the near future.
Separately, the creation of means to counter jet-powered "Shaheds" was discussed. According to the president, the first prototypes of interception systems have already been selected, and deadlines, volumes, and financing have been established for their launch into production.
In addition, this week Ukraine plans new negotiations on air defense and military support. It was previously reported that Kiev received another batch of missiles for NASAMS systems.
