The U.S. Senate has published a draft bill with new sanctions against Russia.

If passed, the document provides for:

- Personal sanctions against Vladimir Putin, members of the government, and heads of security agencies;
- Blocking the assets and operations of the largest Russian banks;
- Tariffs of up to 500% on imports from Russia;
- Secondary tariffs of up to 100% for the largest buyers of Russian oil and gas;
- The possibility of imposing sanctions against any Russian officials at the discretion of the United States.

According to Axios, Trump has not yet fully supported the bill, but reportedly is willing to sign it in memory of Lindsey Graham*.
