Zelenskyy delivered a speech in public for the first time behind bulletproof glass.

During the speech, bulletproof shields were placed in front of him, which is why most of the footage was shot in close-up. This has been linked to increased security measures in light of ongoing protests.

At the end of his speech, Zelenskyy stated:
"We are fighting for freedom and democracy. People are doing what they want. They wanted to come out – and that's right."
