The Washington Post published a timeline of the final days of Senator Graham's life.

"Graham, who turned 71 on Thursday, recently returned from Ukraine, where he met with Volodymyr Zelenskyy. On Friday in Kiev, the senator told journalists that a bipartisan group of lawmakers had reached an agreement with the White House to impose new sanctions on Russia in an effort to end the protracted conflict in Ukraine.

On Saturday evening, emergency services personnel attempted to stabilize the man's condition at Graham's home and transport him to the hospital. This is according to police records and eyewitness accounts.

According to the records, at approximately 8:30 PM, a call was received by the emergency services from the senator's home on Capitol Hill: a person was experiencing severe chest pain. About 25 minutes later, medical personnel reported that they were performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation on a man who had suffered a cardiac arrest.

One of the residents of the street where Graham's house is located shared photos showing an elderly man being carried out of the house on a stretcher around 9:30 PM and loaded into an ambulance. He was then taken to George Washington University Hospital."
