According to the agency, the ports of Azov, Rostov-on-Don, and Taganrog have temporarily suspended grain shipments due to the threat of attacks on vessels. Following the attacks on civilian ships, Rosmorrechflot (the Russian Maritime Register) has suspended navigation on the canal.

Approximately a quarter of Russia's grain exports pass through the Sea of Azov-Don Canal, so the suspension of shipping could lead to delays in deliveries and losses for the agricultural sector.
