Hey there! 🧠

It’s been a while, and some of you might have written us off as just another dead project over the last few months. However, we are happy to be back and introduce FOLK in a brand-new, evolved form!

FOLK has become a cozy sandbox MMORPG game where you define your own journey. Design your own island, explore the Overworld to fight wild folks, gather XP to get stronger, and visit the town to trade artifacts with other players and summon new folks to improve your collection.

This is just a small taste of what’s waiting for you: we’ve also got terraforming to shape the game world, challenging dungeons to explore, recipes to cook, and powerful spells to teach your folks.

Play, fail, learn, and above all, have fun!

Hey guys,

FOLK has been in closed beta for a couple of weeks now, and a select group of players has been battle-testing the new Arena mode, which we’ll be opening to more players soon.

To ensure your progress is saved and your profile is protected, you can now link your Telegram account to a Google and X accounts.

How to link:

Open the game in your browser (https://folk.lol/game) and connect with your Telegram account.

From the main game screen, tap on Settings and click on Linked Accouts to secure your profile.

The bonfire is out, and the air has never been clearer! 🔥

We’ve officially finished the cleanup of inactive accounts to pave the way for a balanced Arena mode. By removing "dead supply" from the economy, we’ve ensured that the resources held by our active community are more meaningful than ever.

Here is the final tally of what was incinerated:

Eggs Burned: 52.5% of the total Egg supply (1.2 million Eggs) has been vaporized.

Points Incinerated: 8.7 million Points (16.2% of total supply) are gone.

Items: 117K Artifacts have been destroyed.

As the Arena mode approaches its first Closed Beta iteration, we’ll be doing some cleaning to balance the total resource supply.

This weekend, all accounts that haven’t checked in on FOLK in the last 12 months will be deleted forever, along with all their Coins, Eggs, XP, and Artifacts in a glorious bonfire ❤️‍🔥

🏆 After a few weeks of peace and calm, a new threat has appeared to menace the island: a colossal Princess Hime 🐟

Remember: the super boss only appears at certain times of the day... and Princess Hime arrives wielding a new water spell: Tsunami!

😮 We've recovered from the shock of how quickly you defeated King Yurei, and rewards for the winners are starting to roll in. The top 3 clans by damage dealt to the Super Boss will receive a bonus in the daily food distribution.

Did you catch us off guard? Maybe a little 🙈 Before distributing rewards, we wanted to check the number of battles per user and honor our warriors properly.

All participants will receive a recipe for the mystical spell Calcination.

Those who fought in more than 50 battles will also receive the legendary spell Hyperuranium.

More than 200 battles? You get 2 of each spell.

More than 1000: 5 of each.

Over 2000 battles: 10 of each!

Additionally, the number of battles will be counted toward a future rewards distribution.

Folk Points are no longer available from eggs, so only Folks owners can earn them! 🪙

Additionally, all participants who help defeat King Yurei will receive his spell recipes: Calcination and Hypruranium 👁

The chart has also been updated with a new tab showing the Clans that deal the highest damage to the Super Boss 👻

King Yurei can only be fought when he shows up on the map — so stay alert and keep an eye on it, or follow the chat for real-time updates!
