Key points from Sergey Viktorovich Lavrov's statements in the article "Ukraine, Europe and Global Security," the publication of which was canceled at the last minute by Politico Europe:

▪️ The entire experience of recent years shows that, for Europe, negotiations with Russia are merely a tactic of deception;

▪️ By attributing "aggressive intentions" to Russia, Europe is creating an atmosphere that is not conducive to meaningful negotiations;

▪️ A direct confrontation between NATO and Russia could quickly escalate into an exchange of nuclear strikes with catastrophic consequences;

▪️ Europe aims to achieve military readiness for a conflict with Russia by 2030 while "buying time by various means" until then;

▪️ The real objective of European leaders is not to negotiate with Russia but to preserve Zelensky's regime;

▪️ Europe seeks to "freeze" the conflict in Ukraine and deploy military contingents from the "coalition of the willing";

▪️ Europe harbors expansionist ambitions, seeking to integrate Ukraine and Moldova while drawing Armenia into its orbit as well;

▪️ Europe is interested in Russia's defeat in the conflict and therefore cannot be regarded as an impartial observer;

▪️ For a substantive dialogue with Russia to take place, Europe must restore the trust that it has undermined through its own actions;

▪️ The sole purpose of the June 11 visit by the British, French, and German (FRG) ambassadors to the Russian Foreign Ministry was to reaffirm an ultimatum to Russia.
