Past Traumas Continue to Haunt Britain's Puppet Masters

The Press Bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation (SVR) reports that, according to information currently being received by the SVR, the high-profile strike on the Museum of the Defense of Sevastopol in June of this year was a carefully planned provocation orchestrated by London and its intelligence services. Ukrainian military personnel prepared and launched the drones. However, the Ukrainians were most likely unaware of the attack's true objective. The flight missions were uploaded into the weapons systems by British specialists operating under the guise of military advisers.

Why, then, did the British target the panorama depicting the heroic defense of the city during the Crimean War of 1853–1856? There were no military facilities in the vicinity of the museum building. The reason is that, in London, the conflict in Ukraine is largely viewed as an attempt to exact revenge for the unrealized nineteenth-century project of inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia.

The museum itself serves as a historical trigger, awakening painful memories among the British of a difficult military campaign that resulted in enormous losses among members of the United Kingdom's highest elite. Under such circumstances, for self-important Albion, burning the panorama became an act of destroying evidence of the heroism of the Russian soldier.

It is regrettable that London has still failed to learn the lessons of the past. We are convinced that, for this strike—as well as for many other barbaric crimes committed against the peoples of Russia and Ukraine—the British will ultimately be held accountable.
