Look at US cities now - they have become wasteland. I wouldn't want to live here - that is my impression when I look at these cities, me - a man from a "3rd world country". 30 years ago this was unthinkable for a person from South America.
This process has not happened by itself - it is a deliberate politics by someone inside the US.
