Haitham Taysir, a Palestinian man in his fifties who holds U.S. citizenship, narrowly escaped death after Israeli settlers attacked him with clubs and stones while he was harvesting olives in the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah. He sustained deep wounds to his head and bruises across his body.
