Hi everyone. I'm preparing a major refactoring of the release publishing process. So, I've been a bit quiet. I also refactored the Pine engine to lsplant, which is used in Vector. I hope to publish a build mid-week. I'm currently testing the build for stability with the latest changes. I'm also still working on OFOX. This week will be very busy, so I won't have much time for my hobbies like evox/pep/ofox. I'll only have a couple of hours after work for all projects

I am currently migrating from the old Pine hook engine to LSPant, as Pine has started showing unstable performance on A17. I will let you know when the tests are completed and I have migrated the changes to the main branch.

Okay. First build after restoring my source code from the damaged disk

For now, I am still restoring my data from the disk, and then I will have to reconfigure the Kubuntu environment. Therefore, there will probably be no builds of Evox or Ofox for at least the next week, or maybe two.

While I was restoring data from the disk, I managed to extract the husky and akita builds from 10.02.

As I mentioned, the sha256sum for akita did not match, but husky did. In any case, please test the restored builds from my damaged disk first. If the installation goes through, then everything is fine. I will publish a release post for the builds of all three devices.

I can send the restored build versions from the disk dated the 2nd for husky and akita. The hash sum matched for husky, but not for akita. However, the archive opens, though I am not sure about the file's validity. It is worth publishing new builds? as I do not know how soon I will be able to build new versions.

Update on the disk disaster: you can ignore my PhotoRec spam from the last 2 days.
Switched to DMDE — it successfully handled the shifted ext4 boundary and reconstructed the filesystem with all original folder paths and filenames (~930k files indexed so far). No need to sort through raw carved junk anymore. Recovery is looking solid!

As I said before, my disk was damaged and all data was deleted. However, if anyone wants, I have an evox build for shiba that I wanted to publish together with husky and akita. But since the husky and akita builds were only local on my PC, there are no builds for these devices. But there is one for shiba since I flashed it to my device.

Well, this is fucking great. The goddamn FS resize somehow got shifted to the right by mistake, and that completely destroyed my entire Kubuntu install. I’m not touching a fucking thing for the foreseeable future, I’m down bad and depressed as shit. Never pushed my last commits for OFox, for EvoX everything was basically local anyway except PEP, but the device tree for Zuma/shusky/akita is completely wiped. Hats off to this fucking Linux, fuck all of this.

Actually, I have ready-made builds for the new version. But I haven't yet prepared the revised instructions for publication, and it seems I damaged my disk at the moment, so I am working on recovery. 🙈
