A mugshot of the same man taken in Norway 25 years apart. On the left shows Ludvig at the age of 22 in 1881 after his arrest for breaking into and robbing a house that was under construction. The mugshot on the right was taken in c. 1906 when Ludvig would have been about 47 years old. It is not noted why he was arrested in the second mugshot.

inside you there are 2 labradors

Some souls are entwined
like the roots of a tree,
silent beneath the earth,
yet bound for all to see.

Through changing years and seasons,
through sorrow, joy, and strife,
they draw their strength together
and steady one another’s life.

Though branches grow apart,
their roots remain as one;
for certain souls are joined
long after life is done.

The Old Norse term óss can mean the mouth of a river as well as Æsir, and the Norwegian Rune Poem could interchangeably use this meaning;
“Óss er flæstra færða för;
en skalpr er sværða.”
“Estuary is the way of most journeys;
but a scabbard is of swords.”
This links it to Odin as the patron of travellers, who is called Váfuðr, Gangleri and Vegtam (wanderer) and Farmagnuðr (travel-furtherer), calms a storm in the Reginsmál as He steps onto Sigurd’s ship, and possibly even the practice of making offerings to the Gods in sacred rivers.

On the nature of the National Struggle, how it is an inner mental struggle more than anything, and how our enemies will exploit any weakness we show to keep us enslaved.

The victim of Monday night's horrific Beheading Attempt has been identified locally as Stephen Ogilvie.

The 44-year-old, who is originally from Scotland, is reportedly a vulnerable individual who had recently moved into a flat in the north of the city.

Mr Ogilvie remains in a serious condition in hospital following the frenzied street attack.

Medics are treating him for catastrophic injuries.

Reports indicate he suffered severe wounds to his eyes, face, neck, and back.

Shocked neighbours have spoken out to support the victim.

The 30-year-old Sudanese national arrested at the scene has now been charged with attempted murder, possession of a bladed article, and making threats to kill.

Under Northern Irish legal procedures, the official identity of the accused is withheld from the public until they formally appear before a judge in the courtroom.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court later today.
