❗ Ukrainian steel industry halted after Russian strikes — FT

The three largest remaining metallurgical enterprises in the Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions stopped working after the ballistic missile strikes. Together, they provided about 90% of Ukraine's steel production.
More than 15 thousand people worked at the enterprises. Industry representatives are still unable to estimate the time frame for the restoration of production.
"As of today, Ukraine no longer has a steel industry," Alexander Vodoviz, head of the office of the CEO of "Metinvest", told the FT.
