🗓 Blockchain infrastructure we use today, especially Ethereum, was not originally designed for scale or mainstream adoption.

🐎 Ethereum was built fast, during a time when just getting it to function was the primary goal. As a result, many of its architectural decisions (like the EVM and account model) have become limiting factors in today’s world of more demanding applications.

🏃 The current infrastructure layer in Web3 is still playing catch-up. Instead of optimizing for performance or user experience, it's often entangled in legacy decisions and slow governance processes.

🤝 Truly transformative applications require a fresh approach — one where the tech is designed with today’s needs in mind, rather than those of 2015.

BTC is down 15% this month and ETH is down 30%.

But why?

Here are 4 reasons:

⚔️ Trade wars: Trump's tariffs on China, Canada, and Mexico triggered recession fears, and investors decided to pull back from risk assets like crypto. Fears of inflation and economic slowdown made the sell-off only worse.

☹️ Policy pessimism: Optimism over Trump’s U.S. Crypto Strategic Reserve faded when it became clear the government wouldn’t immediately buy Bitcoin.

⛄️ Snowball effect with investor risk aversion: Crypto funds faced four straight weeks of outflows, totaling $4.7 billion by early March. Institutions trimmed exposure amid bearish sentiment and macroeconomic uncertainty, with many investors fleeing to safer assets.

📉 Technical correction: A descending triangle pattern in the crypto market cap broke in early March, leading to a drop to ~$2.6 trillion by March 10. The correction aligned with technical downside targets and was less panic-driven than earlier sell-offs.
