Enterprise Uzbekistan and IT Park Uzbekistan met with Hong Kong's Monetary Authority and the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau to explore how Hong Kong coordinates government, regulators, and tech companies.

Topics included fast payments, cross-border digital payments, tokenization, and regulatory sandboxes — plus Hong Kong's model of setting shared direction while letting institutions execute independently.

Hong Kong representatives were invited to ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026. More cooperation on FinTech, regulation, and market access to come.
