🇮🇶/ 🇸🇾| Last night, an Iraqi Shia content creator, Raad Al-Halag, visited the Holy Shrine of Sayyidah Zaynab (S) in Damascus and posted a video of his visit online. A few hours later, Julani’s gangs were reportedly seen besieging the hotel in Damascus where the Iraqi content creator was staying. According to the reports, the siege was linked to his visit to the shrine of Sayyidah Zaynab (S) and the video he posted. Julani’s gangs reportedly imposed a siege on the Daraa Rose Hotel in Damascus and threatened to kill Raad Al-Halag, prompting calls for the Iraqi government to intervene.
In contrast, it is worth recalling that the same HTS previously allowed liberal, Zionist-assisted and foreign-backed UMAA members to enter the shrine, led by Noor Zaidi, Germany-based Indian-origin Tossif Abdi, Pakistan’s Mir Hasan Mir, and members of their group. At present, however, reports indicate that Iranians, Iraqis, and Lebanese are being prevented from visiting the holy sanctuaries. Questions therefore remain over the selective restrictions being imposed on pilgrims and visitors to these sacred sites.
