🇹🇷 Turkey
— Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan received Hamas Political Bureau Chief Khalil al-Hayya and a delegation in Ankara. The meeting addressed political, field and humanitarian developments in Palestine, along with Turkey’s role in supporting Palestinian rights.
🇮🇷 Iran
— Reports said an enemy surveillance drone was brought down over Yazd. Iranian Army commander Brigadier General Jahanshahi stated that more than 50 combat and support units had been deployed along borders in the northwest, west, southwest, east and southeast, as well as along the Makran coast.
— Reports said a new generation of Shahed-136 drones had been used against separatist groups in Erbil. Iranian military and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps activity against several sites belonging to opposition groups in the Erbil area was also reported.
— Schools in Hormozgan Province shifted to non-physical or hybrid instruction. Schools in Bandar Abbas were operating three days in person and two days online, while schools in Qeshm, Sirik and Jask followed hybrid arrangements. Schools in other counties continued in-person instruction.
— Reports indicated that the number of ships passing through the Omani side of the Strait of Hormuz had declined amid Iranian attacks on tankers accused of violating the strait’s regulations. Only two ships were reportedly visible.
— A vessel was reportedly struck by an unidentified projectile off the coast of the United Arab Emirates near Fujairah, with oil leaking from the vessel. The cause and circumstances remained unclear. Separately, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said vessels using unauthorised routes through the Strait of Hormuz would be pursued across the region and punished.
— Reports said the Pentagon had awarded Raytheon a $6.3 billion contract to replenish stocks of SM-3 Block IB interceptors following the war with Iran.
— In Sistan and Baluchestan, a roadside bomb struck a law-enforcement vehicle. Jaysh al-Adl claimed responsibility for an attack that martyred a deputy commander responsible for social and security affairs.
🇮🇶 Iraq
— The Popular Mobilization Forces’ 52nd Brigade conducted a broad security operation east of Salah al-Din. An attempted ISIS attack in Al-Burghaliya, south of Kirkuk, was reportedly thwarted.
— The Islamic Resistance of Iraq said unidentified military aircraft had violated Iraqi airspace using bases in Jordan, Turkey, Occupied Palestine, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Reports also indicated that suicide drones had entered the airspace over Erbil.
— The Al-Sa’d tribe called for the release of Abu Riyadh al-Sa’d, director of the Popular Mobilization Forces’ Culture Department, who was arrested after burning an American flag.
— Sayyid al-Shuhada Brigades Secretary-General Abu Alaa al-Walai condemned america’s sanctions against the International Criminal Court, saying the move demonstrates that Washington considers itself above the law.
— The Al-Sa’d tribe demanded the release of Abu Riyadh al-Sa’d, director of the Popular Mobilization Forces’ Culture Department, following his arrest after he burned an American flag.
